The promise

If your RL-1001 cracks, tears, warps or fails for any reason, at any point in the life of the part, email barcus@high-shot.com with a photo. A replacement ships free. No receipt required.

There is no registration step, no claim form and no restocking charge. The photo is only there so the failure can be looked at and the next batch made better.

Why this is affordable to promise

Every part is printed, ceramic coated and inspected by hand, in small batches, in Fairhope, Alabama. A one-person shop that makes its own parts can replace one for the cost of the material and the postage. That is the whole reason a lifetime promise on a $25 part is not a marketing line.

It also means the warranty is a feedback loop rather than a cost centre. A part that comes back is a part that gets redesigned.

What it does not cover

• Damage from cutting, drilling or modifying the part.
• Loss or theft of the vehicle or the part.
• Anything other than the bezel itself. The shifter mechanism underneath is Ford's.
